Rafa Jacinto is a photographer and filmmaker from São Paulo, Brazil, now
based in Milan since 2018. With around 20 years of experience, he began
as a photojournalist for newspapers and magazines before co-founding the
collective Cia de Foto in the early 2000s.
As part of the collective, Rafa built a significant career as an artist, exhibiting in prestigious photography festivals worldwide. During this time, he also transitioned into corporate and commercial photography, blending his fast, documentary style with the polished aesthetics required for brands and agencies.
With a background in skateboarding, Rafa has worked extensively with streetstyle and lifestyle brands, establishing himself as a lifestyle photographer known for delivering accurate, authentic aesthetics.
Over the years, he expanded into filmmaking, becoming an advertising film director and freelancing from 2015 onward.
Always aware of changes in the market and technology, Rafa has consistently updated his skills to meet evolving demands. His expertise in both still and moving images allows him to deliver content tailored to his clients’ needs, whether for digital platforms or offline channels. Since moving to Milan, he has continued to create photo and video projects for clients worldwide, adapting to projects of any scale while allowing his artistic and commercial practices to inspire one another.
