Jonathan Emma is an Italian filmmaker. He was born in the mid-80s in a small province on the Liguria coast. From a very young age, he became passionate about fashion photography (still exclusively in magazines), and later on video, experimenting with video projections in the most important Italian music clubs. After graduating in Photography for Fashion, at the University of Florence, he moved to Milan as an assistant photographer, working with the biggest names in fashion photography. His aesthetic is decidedly photographic and clean, up-to-date with the styles of the moment. However, he is imposing himself to maintain his own naturalness, trying to prioritize empathy with the subject in front of the camera.
