A kind of agency, a kind of talent management, a kind of difficult to define, as it is the communication market right now.
Alessandro Treves is born and raised in a small town in the Piedmontese mountains. The stylistic signature of his work is the search for the “True”; that spark of authenticity which emerges from the personal baggage of the subjects portrayed.
Born and raised in a small town in the Piedmontese mountains, at the age of 18 he moved to Milan to study pharmacy, which he then decided to leave during an Erasmus project in Oslo, where he remained, but working as an assistant in a photographic studio. Shortly after he won a scholarship to the Istituto Superiore di Fotografia e Comunicazione in Rome where, in the meantime, he worked as an assistant in the studio of Paolo Pellegrin. Today his studio is based in Milan and deals mainly with publishing, fashion and journalism projects.
The stylistic signature of Alessandro Treves’ work is the search for the “True”: what the author tries to immortalise and communicate is that spark of authenticity which emerges from the personal baggage of the subjects portrayed. He has a free and democratic approach to photography, from the first steps taken in reporting and that keeps in every project that faces: does not look for the beautiful photograph but the good one.
