4TH ISSUE OF inCF MAGAZINE CURATED BY ALECIO FERRARI

Alecio Ferrari

Alecio Ferrari worked as Art Director at the 4th issue of inCF Magazine

The issue, “Manipulating Nature, ” wonders about our relationship with nature and what it represents in aesthetic practice.

In this fourth issue of inCf magazine, curated by photographer Alecio Ferrari, the chosen theme is Manipulating Nature.

Humans have always felt the need to represent and illustrate the fear, wonder, mystery, and fascination that nature exerts on our imagination through various expressive and artistic forms. In the representation of nature in the arts over the centuries, one can discern the intellectual thought, values, morals, and ethics of a society in a given historical period.

In this issue of inCf magazine, we have asked ourselves what our relationship with nature is today and how we represent it in aesthetic practice. What are the codes? The themes? The distinctive elements of this era? What have we carried forward from the past and what new forms have emerged?
